Personal Branding Photography – Digital Marketers, Danielle and Lara from Young & Cooper
I’m an avid follower of Young & Cooper on instagram. Their posts about social media and how to use it to help your business are brilliant and super helpful! When Danielle contacted me about a personal branding photoshoot, I was over the moon! She explained that they were building a new website and had no images of them to use – apart from a selfie!
When we were planning the shoot they were very clear on what type of images they needed for their website and social media platforms. They wanted to create a stronger online presence to reflect their personalities visually and also become more approachable.
In our initial chat we talked through how a brand photoshoot works along with some personal branding examples. From this we decided to use a great location in Ipswich, Suffolk. The studio is an amazingly creative space and perfect for a personal branding photoshoot.
When I work with personal branding photography clients I send a detailed questionnaire. This helps me understand what they truly want out of a session. I then create a shoot plan. This includes a brand review of current images and I also look for opportunities where I can help with imagery. From here, I work out the shot list for our brand photoshoot. This covers every shot we’d like to get, along with a prop list and wardrobe plan. The main aim of being this prepared, is to ensure the shoot is exactly what the client needs for their digital platforms.
I love helping small businesses stand out from the crowd with beautiful high end brand imagery! I’d love to hear from you if you’ve been thinking about a brand photoshoot or you’re in need of some new creative headshots.
