This month (May 2022), I did my first ever Personal Branding Mini Photoshoots. I had been thinking about these for a while, and when I found the perfect location, Relm Venues in Debenham, Suffolk, I knew the time was right! A mini photoshoot session is a short 20-minute shoot which gives you a gallery of about 20 images to choose your favourite 3. Grab a cuppa and look through what we captured for each of these wonderful Suffolk Female Business Owners.
Female Website Business Owner – Jackie Slade
My first session was with the lovely Jackie from The Website Success Academy, who helps small business owners create their own websites to stand out online and grow their businesses. She needed updated headshots and a few brand stock images across her website, course material and social media content.
This is what Jackie said once she’d received her images:
“I’m not the most confident person in front of a camera, but I genuinely enjoyed the whole mini-shoot experience. The location was beautiful, and Georgina is so good at making you relax; I almost forgot my photo was being taken! We laughed a lot, and I’d do it all again in a heartbeat. Absolutely thrilled with my photos – just perfect for my brand. Thank you, Georgina!
Wellness and Motivation Coach – Sue Tetley
My next client, Sue from Sue Tetley Wellness, helps her clients achieve their fitness goals with 1:1 mindset, fitness coaching, goal setting and accountability. This was Sue’s first brand shoot, and she was a little nervous before her personal brand mini session. We had a pre-shoot call which helped us get to know each other a little better to help alleviate Sue’s nerves. Our call also helped me understand the type of shots Sue needed for her website and social media.

Suffolk Artisan Florist – Emma Skiterall
We then welcomed the very talented Emma of The Oulton Broad Flower Co, an Artisan Florist. Emma has an online shop, and she also holds various workshops at her studio in Oulton Broad. Emma bought some beautiful flowers for her personal brand mini session, including amazing peonies. We were able to use them as a
foreground to the shots and background and, of course, props for Emma to hold.

“Working with Georgina was an absolute dream, she is so vibrant and energetic you just can’t help but feel that too. I’ve been always told I “go wooden” in front of the camera, but she made me feel so relaxed… looking at what she’s achieved, she really has captured the pure essence of my love for flowers. I can’t wait for Georgina to visit my studio in the future and work with her again, she clearly has found her passion in life, and it shines through her lens.”
Creative Marketing Consultant – Yasmin Jeffery
When Yasmin of Seasoned Communications arrived at her personal brand mini session, I knew that we would be giggling throughout her photoshoot. Yasmin has an infectious personality and is an absolute pleasure to photograph. Yasmin’s business is as a creative marketing consultant, and she needed to update her profile images and capture some content-specific photos.
This is what Yasmin said once she’d seen her gallery of images:
“I really needed some professional headshots for my business. I saw Georgina’s post about mini brand shoots and instantly thought it sounded exactly right for me, but it wasn’t without hesitancy. What if we didn’t click, or the photos weren’t any good, or (and this was the worst) I looked even fatter than I already felt after some recent weight gain! In the end, the organisation and care pre-shoot was incredible, and even though the shoot was fairly quick (it was a mini shoot, after all), it was fun, inspiring and wonderful. I loved it, and I love the final shots. It was a pleasure, and I will definitely be using Georgina again for all my photography needs going forward. She is a naturally talented and a wonderful photographer.”
